The Burmor team recently attended the first ever Social Value Awards with Procure Partnerships Framework in Birmingham, after being finalists in the ‘Collaborative Working Group’ category.
We have been working with Galliford Try and Bam to deliver social value as a group across the Midlands, and last year participated in Girl Tech STEM Initiative last year, encouraging the next generation of women into our great industry.
The afternoon was inspirational, surrounded by guests working hard to change the narrative in construction and support communities, and an excellent guest speaker from Change Please Coffee.
Thrilled that Burmor, Galliford and Bam won the award for their category, a huge achievement as we take steps to do more beyond the build.
Big well done to our very own Georgia, Fran and Megan for their involvement at the event, wouldn’t have got to the finals without you!
