Supporting the Ongoing Battle

Burmor have continued their company support and commitment to mental health in the industry by pledging to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity for a second year.

The work that the Lighthouse industry charity do not only supports our immediate staff and sub-contractors, but also their families. It is an invaluable and more importantly, free, resource that helps to provide emotional, physical and financial aid for all individuals in the construction industry; making it one of a kind.

An incredible £3,727,386 was donated during 2023, giving lighthouse the ability to provide more resource and aid to those in need.

Through our affiliation and journey with them and mental health, we have trained 5 of our staff to be mental health first aiders who have now formed an internal mental health working group. We hope to see even more positive progress during 2024.
