Successful handover in stanground.

After the successful completion of our project in Stanground, we were able to catch up with our Senior Quantity Surveyor, Connor Hare, who was full of enthusiasm and had this to say about his project:

‘Its a delight to have worked in collaboration with Cross Keys Homes and our site manager, Andy Squance, to complete the handover of the South Street, Stanground site. Hosting a variety of flats and houses, this development has been a excellent example of what can be achieved with careful planning on brownfield sites, with old and unused buildings being demolished making space for much needed affordable housing in Peterborough.’

He went on to say:

‘The team has worked extremely well to utilise the limited space available on site, both during the design stage, and during the construction phase of the project. We are proud to say that this particular project has utilised a variety of renewable energy sources, with a mix of PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps, creating buildings which are future proofed and energy efficient contributing to our mission to be more sustainable. It’s great to see the plots already being occupied by residents, and first hand seeing the positive impact it is going to make on the local area.’

This handover is one of many on the calendar for Burmor during this busy schedule and we look forward to continuing our strong partnerships and contributing to the growth and success of our affordable homes projects across the east of the country.
