Building homes for the future
We recently hosted a site visit with guests from Peterborough City Council and Central Bedfordshire Council to our Trelowen Way site in Peterborough. Our 75 new homes are being developed in partnership with Peterborough City Council and Accent, designed for affordable rent and ranging from 1-bed maisonettes to 4-bed houses. The Burmor team, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Ollie, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Ciara, and Site Manager, Andy, hosted the visit with Accent Easts Assistant Development Director, Azhar Ahmed. They shared with guests the importance of building homes for the future; each home is designed to be highly energy efficient, with an EPC A rating. The use of prefabricated, low carbon timer and PV panels on each roof will reduce energy costs for customers and help to tackle fuel poverty.
Great progress is being made in our strive to deliver as many units as possible using modern methods of construction, and ensuring we are providing future proof homes for the local Peterborough community.
