Help for Homes

Here at Burmor Construction, we believe that every person deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to the local community, we are excited to announce a brand-new fundraising initiative focused on improving the living conditions in deprived areas.
Social housing plays a critical role in providing stability and opportunity for individuals and families who are most in need. Unfortunately, many areas across the country, including communities in Peterborough continue to face severe housing shortages, substandard living conditions, and a lack of resources for those who need it most. By investing in the communities surrounding social housing, we aim to improve not just the physical infrastructure, but the quality of life for countless families and individuals in vulnerable situations. Our mission is to create positive, lasting change by supporting initiatives that address these critical challenges.

At the end of 2024, we were lucky enough to meet julie gooding when visiting #Carezone and #TheTrussellTrustFoodBank, where we managed to donate 62kg of food items which according to their calculations worked out at 125 meals provided over Christmas.

Thank you to site staff and subbies who donated to our collection bins, Alex Lowndes Daniel Rowland, and Megan Bemrose, Francesca Durose and Rachel Jolly at M.V. YOUNG SCAFFOLDING LIMITED also for contributions. We are looking to continue to drive contributions still in 2025 as this goes a long way!

Our unique #HelpforHomes initiative will be announced in the next few days along with our first fundraising campaign for 2025 where we will be working closely with Carezone in hope to create a long-lasting partnership moving forward.

Keep your eyes peeled for our campaign and the new dedicated page on the website to go with it.
