Further work at Ropsley Village Hall

Following the successful design and build of the new Ropsley Village Hall our presence on site has still been felt as we began to demolish the existing hall and commence the car park extension.

The demolition began with 2 weeks of extensive asbestos removal of which the HSE were involved to inspect the removal and ensure the work was being carried out safely. Once the certificate of reoccupation was issued the demolition of the structure began and just under 2 weeks later the building was demolished and all rubble removed from site.

3 weeks later the carpark was complete, marking the completion of Burmor’s involvement on site. Building Control have now signed off the project ready for the Ropsley Village Hall Steering Group to open the building to the public.
