Friendly Competition

After our successful in-house valentines bake off, the team went head to head in aid of comic relief. The competition was tough, with Luke, Megan and Ollie receiving the same number of votes on the poll; we needed to determine a winner!

Our office team are renowned for their sweet tooth and both previous bake offs have seen lots of yummy sweet treats so, in the spirit of a challenge, we tasked the bake off finalists with a savoury bake. We were all very impressed with Megan’s savoury flatbreads, a mix of spice, tomato, feta, mint and spinach and Luke’s delivery of a classic in the form of perfectly baked rolls and accompanying butter (real of course!).

The general consensus was, in the words of Quantity Surveyor Scott Broadbent, ‘Megs wins’.

Well done to both for taking on the challenge and to Megan Bemrose for being the next bake off champion!
