NPEA Awards - Burmor announced winners for ‘East Project of the Year 2024’.
Burmor announced winners for a second year in a row.
The National Project Excellence Awards, by Procure Partnerships Framework, are a celebration of the very best in the industry, the vital projects they deliver and the incredible impacts they have on communities across the UK.
This year, they hosted a dedicated awards ceremony at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham, to reward those firms who demonstrate industry best practice and excellence across their projects, through technical innovations, social impact, and sustainability.
Burmor, for a second year in a row, picked up an award but this time for the London Road Development, Kirton, Lincolnshire which comprises of 41 dwellings for our valued client, Platform Housing Group. Megan Bemrose (Quantity Surveyor) for this project was in attendance amongst 10 other representatives from Burmor, however it was Director, Patrick Burke and Associate Director, Sam Harwin who went up to collect the award in front of the strong audience. Massive congratulations to Glen Smith (Site Manager) and the team for the continuous hard work on the project.
East Project of the Year:
The award was secured based on the following criteria:
A project that has performed highly across KPI performance measures.
Overcome any notable project delivery challenges.
Demonstrated additional benefits showcased eg. Social Value Benefits.
Evaluated based on evidence submitted through Compliance Chain.
Faye Dolan of Procure Partnerships Framework had this to say “The event was a fantastic celebration of the vital projects you, our partners, deliver. The standards of excellence displayed at the awards were incredible to see and all those nominated should be incredibly proud. I wanted to also give a special thank you to our sponsors, without them, the event would not have been possible.”
Next year’s annual NPEA awards will take place at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool and will be PPF’s biggest event yet. Could Burmor be shortlisted again or even still, pick up and award for a 3rd year in a row? I guess we’ll have to see!
